Opening hours

The PLASTINARIUM is open on Friday, Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. (last admission 4 p.m.)

Visitors can get to know the PLASTINARIUM in different ways. They have the possibility to come to see the exhibition on their own or they can book a guided tour.

 

Admission

 Adults:12,00 EUR per person
 Reduced admission*:10,00 EUR per person

Bought tickets entitle to one visit of the exhibition.


Guided Tours

Guided tours need to be booked in advance. Guided tours take only place for groups with a minimum of 10 people. Per guided tour 70 EUR are charged in addition to the admission price. A guided tour takes approximately 2 hours. We recommend a group size of max. 20 people. For groups of less than 10 people a fixed price of 170 EUR is charged.

Please register groups for guided tours by telephone, personally or by e-mail.

Group visits outside our regular opening times with or without guided tour are also possible with advanced reservation on Thursdays. (Prices on request)

* Reduced Admission

    • groups of 10 people or more

    • children** and young persons (from 7 to 18 years old)

    • pupils

    • students (up to 30 years of age)

    • trainees

    • severely disabled people

    • persons performing compulsory military service

    • or civil duties

    • pensioners

   • unemployed people or those receiving social security benefits

 

Reduction upon presentation of valid ID or appropriate valid document only.
 

** Children up to 14 years of age
A responsible adult must accompany children under 14.

 

 Free Admission is offered:

 • to body donors of the Institute for Plastination (with body donor card),

 • for children up to six years of age,

 • members of the media and

 • for caregivers of disabled people if required (one caregiver per visitor, proof of necessity required)

 




Taking pictures and filming for private purposes is allowed in all rooms/premises of the Plastnarium.
Please do not take pictures of employees and do not use flashlight. After a previous permission, journalists and media representatives have the possibility to take pictures and film for editorial coverage.

Drawing and Painting
Artists are given the possibility to do paintings, drawings or sketches in the plastinarium, but only for private purposes.

 

 

 
The PLASTINARIUM covers more than 2,500 sq.
meters (25,000 sq. ft.).Visitors should plan on
spending about two hours during their tour of
the PLASTINARIUM.
